Jive Thyme R is a beautifully bred colt by the Grand Prix stallion Jive Magic. Jive Thyme R is out of the Regardez Moi mare Rosemary R who is the mother of two full-brothers; one of which is in Victoria and the other of which is in Western Australia. Jive Thyme R carries the Salute bloodlines right down on the bottom line. Salute is probably the most influential bloodline in Australia today in terms of Olympic and World Championship dressage and eventing competition horses. Regardez Moi is of course also a significant contributor to performance bloodlines in that he is probably the most winning Grand Prix dressage stallion ever in Australian history having won more than 40 Grand Prix level tests!!
Jive Thyme R brings all of these bloodlines together in a beautiful way and produces three magnificent paces that all have great bend with a soft and supple rhythm. Although Jive Thyme R is a big gangly teenager at the moment, he does show a wonderful up-in-front way of going, a definite natural lowering of the hind-quarters, and very exciting natural bend in both the knee and the hock joints. On top of all this, Jive Thyme R is naturally very quiet and friendly and has just the best temperament. Jive Thyme R has a big future in front of him.
